At our faculty, an informative seminar on Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Projects was organized with presentations by Bünyamin Göl and Veli Esen from the Sakarya Governor’s Office European Union and External Promotion Bureau.
During the seminar, participants were informed about EU programs, Erasmus+ Youth, Higher Education, and other European Union opportunities. In the continuation of the seminar, two students who had previously gone to Germany through Erasmus+ programs and our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selma Kılıç Kırılmaz shared their personal experiences. Our students had the opportunity to listen to individuals who had studied abroad and interacted with different cultures.
At the end of the event, a Kahoot quiz competition was held. The winner, Arif Barış Özcan, a 3rd-year student in the Department of International Trade and Logistics, earned the right to participate in an Erasmus+ project to be held in Europe in the coming months.
This seminar not only helped students gain more detailed information about Erasmus+ and ESC projects, but also served as a strong source of motivation for considering study-abroad opportunities.
