In our faculty, an educational seminar was held within the scope of the Family Year, in cooperation with the Sakarya University of Applied Sciences Women and Family Studies Application and Research Center (SUBÜKAM) and Sakarya Family and Social Services, in line with the theme Raising the Families of the Future – 2.

Before the seminar, a brief introductory presentation about our center was delivered by our SUBÜKAM unit representative, Research Assistant Gizem BARUTÇU. Afterwards, in the seminar titled Family Communication, presented by Family Social Support Specialist Muhammed Emin ŞAHİN from the Sakarya Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, subtopics such as emotional awareness and empathy, conflict and problem solving, and the elements of healthy communication within the family were discussed. Students remained actively engaged with the speaker throughout the seminar.

At the end of the event, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Family Social Support Specialist Muhammed Emin ŞAHİN by the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sinan ESEN, in recognition of his contributions.
