Applications for the Recognition of Prior Learning for the 2025-2026 Academic Year shall be submitted in person and in writing to the Student Affairs Office in accordance with Article 6 of the Sakarya University of Applied Sciences Recognition of Prior Learning Guidelines. Applications and exams will be held on the dates announced in the calendar. Exams will be conducted in person. A student may apply for exams for courses totaling no more than 15 ECTS credits per exam period.

Documents required during application:
For courses: Education Certificate related to the subject, obtained from authorized educational institutions or public institutions.
For Internship and Vocational Training in the Workplace: Portfolio prepared during work at the workplace or internship logbook prepared in the format specified by the department. The student must document that they were registered with the Social Security Institution at the relevant workplace during the period of acquisition and must submit their application with documents approved by the workplace authority detailing the activities through which they acquired the knowledge, skills, and competencies they have gained, as well as their work-education periods.
Note: Internships, Vocational Training in the Workplace, Foreign Language, Information Technologies, and Coding courses are excluded from the 15 ECTS credit scope.
