At our faculty, a fire safety training and drill was carried out in collaboration with our University’s OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) Unit and the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department.

As part of the event, a lecture delivered by SBB Fire Instructor Mehmet Enes Sezen covered in detail topics such as types of fires, proper use of fire extinguishers, precautions to be taken before a fire, actions required during a fire, and post-fire intervention procedures.

Following the lecture, a practical fire drill was conducted with the participation of academic and administrative staff as well as students. Participants had the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice and use fire extinguishing equipment on site.
